The CalfOTel Total System is new method for rearing calves up an age of 4 months. The system can be used with our 4 types of calf box.
Because it is a total system, both individual and group boxes can be placed side by side in the same shed and automated feeder units can be integrated. This radically reduces the amount of work involved in feeding the calves and making sure they have enough to drink. Placing the boxes together also gives farmers a direct overview of their entire herd. CalfOTel Total System obviously provides all the advantages of the CalfOTel calf boxes that are listed elsewhere on this website. Outdoor rearing also has the practical advantage of being able to feed all the calves at the same time and enables the farmer to maintain an effective overview of the herd. Because the accommodation is roofed over, the feed remains dry, which is pleasant for the calves. The CalfOTel Total System is ideal for modern livestock farmers.
